Do I need a tax service?
- If you live in the UK and receive holiday letting income from property here , you must tell the tax man, even if you do not make a profit.
- If you live in the UK and sell a holiday property other than your main home here, you must tell the tax man.
What does your tax service do?
Property Tax Plus can't make your tax go away, but we can work with you to make sure you pay the least possible. Our advisors will review your rental accounts and letting business set-up to ensure you are trading in the most tax-effective way and are claiming all possible expenses, allowances and reliefs.
The service is tailored to your needs - you can have a full book-keeping and tax service, or keep the accounts yourself and send the figures to us or even opt for our online accounts service. We will work with you and look after:

- Tax calculation and tax return completion

Costs
Costs vary from one property business to another, depending on the number of properties in the portfolio, the number of joint owners and complication of your tax affairs.
Typically, we will charge:
- Single landlord, first property: £325 + VAT per tax year (April 6 to the following April 5)
- Joint owners: £175 + VAT per tax year per joint owner (Maximum of four joint owners)
- Additional properties: £75 + VAT per additional property
